We believe that our people are the key to our success. After all, our people – and the services they offer – determine whether we achieve our goal of attracting and retaining client relationships for the long term.
That’s why it’s vitally important that we attract the right people: those with drive, enthusiasm, intelligence and commitment (a sense of humour helps too!). We believe that recruitment is a two-way process, though, and that you deserve these qualities from us too. We also feel it’s important that coming to work is enjoyable and rewarding.
If you’ve decided you want to have a career in the accountancy profession, we offer our trainees great support and the tools to help you achieve your goals. We have developed a close working relationship with one of the leading national training organisations; we provide great support through our buddy system – each trainee is assigned a mentor who has trained themselves during the last couple of years – and we’ll also give you an additional two weeks’ paid leave for private study.
So, as well as gaining valuable hands on experience and the opportunity to get involved in client work from an early stage – with our support, of course – we also recognise the value in supporting your professional development by helping you develop the skills and confidence to network. Perhaps it’s no surprise, then, that our trainees perform exceptionally well in their exams.
Established and emerging professionals
We are, of course, also very interested in hearing from you if you’re part trained or fully qualified. Regardless of the stage you are at in your career, the most important consideration for us is that you have the qualities we’ve outlined above.
If we sound like the kind of firm you’d fit into, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Even if there isn’t currently a suitable position, we will consider your application very carefully.
Please send your CV together with a short paragraph about why you’d like to join us to Janet Clifford (email@example.com). Any correspondence will of course be treated confidentially.
