Seminars to Help Region’s Law Firms Deal with Challenging Economic Times
Jill Wright, the partner at Kirk Newsholme responsible for our legal client portfolio and Mark Philmore, a partner at insurance brokers MFL Professional - have joined forces to provide breakfast seminars this month; the aim of which is to provide law firms with the essential advice to assist them get through these tough times, as we are only too aware that regardless of size, many firms are facing unprecedented economic conditions.
Jill will be looking at the tax and audit issues, including how to manage clients’ money efficiently, working capital management and the use of budgets and cash flow forecasts to minimise tax and manage working capital. The PII market is also difficult this year and Mark will be highlighting some of the ways in which legal practices can prepare for the changes to PII, as well as taking a look at the the impact of The Law Society’s minimum policy terms and what the PII renewal season may have in store for 2009.
Whilst the first seminar is now full, there are still places available for the second breakfast to be held at Kirk Newsholme’s offices, on the 30th June; starting at 08.30 and aiming to finish for 10.00am.
