Tom Upton – Audit Senior

Tom works within Kirk Newsholme’s Audit department and has been with the firm for 3 years.

Tell us a bit about your role

I am a senior in the audit department so I spend most of my time out of the office meeting clients and carrying out procedures to check the annual statutory accounts of our larger clients.

What would you be if you weren’t an Auditor?

Possibly a teacher although I’m not sure I have the patience! Either that or a chef!

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Neil Armstrong, July 20^th 1969!

What are you currently watching?

Not a lot at the moment on the TV, went to the cinema to see the new Diego Maradona documentary the other day which was excellent!

Where’s your favourite place in the world?

If I had to say anywhere in the world I’d probably say my bed. I’d live in it if I could!
