Introducing the Who’s Who? corner of our monthly Newswire…

Each month we’ll interview one of the team here at KN to tell you a bit more about themselves and their role….after all, everyone loves a good nosey don’t they?!

Carol Coulter, Administration Manager, Kirk Newsholme Financial Planning.

Carol has a long background in the financial services industry and works alongside KNFP’s Directors managing the admin team, which she has been doing since joining the team 5 years ago.

Tell us a bit about your role at KNFP?

This will be my 25th year in the Financial Services industry! I started out at Royal Life as a life assurance underwriter and then moved into the IFA sector. I am now the admin manager in the Financial Services team  and I help ensure things run smoothly!

What do you like about working for Kirk Newsholme Financial Planning?

There’s a genuine team atmosphere and real sense of encouragement across KN.  I also like the versatility we can offer our clients. We’re a small team, but between us have a great wealth of experience and know-how which means we’re able to work with all types of clients both on a personal level as well as business – the fact we work alongside a team of 40 accountants can also be really beneficial in terms of being able to offer clients a full range of services should they require it.

If you weren’t in Financial Planning what would you do?

Probably a vet, or anything animal related. Should I ever win the lottery I’d love to be able to open up an animal sanctuary for all waifs and strays.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Jurgen Klopp. I’m a big Liverpool fan! He’s a great manager and I’d love to see what a typical match day is like for him, especially now as we’re so close to winning the league!

What are you currently watching?

FBI and The Rookie. I like anything police/law related

Where’s your favourite place in the world?

My first choice would be my bed as I love to sleep! Closely followed by Las Vegas. We’ve been over 20 times now and it never gets old. There’s always something new to see or do and plenty of bars and restaurants to keep us fed and watered!!
