Trish works within the firm’s admin team supporting in a variety of admin areas, answering calls, and giving clients a warm welcome when arriving at our offices.
Tell us a bit about your role and Kirk Newsholme…
I work as part of the admin/reception team answering phones and meeting and greeting clients. Probably the most important part of my role is carrying out anti-money laundering checks when onboarding new clients to ensure compliance. KN is a friendly and inclusive firm to work for and I enjoy coming to work and being part of an enthusiastic team.
What would you be if you weren’t working in Admin?
Prior to working in admin, I was an A-level English Literature teacher. In my spare time I have recently completed a barbering course and am currently studying hairdressing, as I enjoy learning new skills – so if anyone needs a trim…
What are you currently reading?
Currently, I am re-reading all the Wessex novels of Thomas Hardy – undeniably one of England’s finest writers.
Where is your favourite place in the World?
My favourite place in the world is the Lion Rock at Piha in New Zealand – it is an eroded 16-million-year-old volcanic outcrop which resembles a male lion. I visited when I was backpacking as a girl. Magical.
What’s on your bucket list?
Switzerland is on my bucket list. I would love to see the Alpine meadows and of course buy a cuckoo clock and some Toblerone!
