An ACTION packed week for Mental Health Awareness!

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, and our team came together to take part in a couple of activities designed to promote wellbeing, encourage connection, and support an important cause, running with this year’s theme of ‘ACTION’

On Tuesday, we took the opportunity to get outdoors and Tracy, from our tax team, having a real passion and talent for photography, led a relaxed nature walk for the team. It was a chance to step away from our desks, explore some of the beautiful surroundings on our doorstep, and take a moment to appreciate the benefits of fresh air and mindful observation.

On Wednesday, we upped the pace and took on a team challenge to ‘cycle’ the distance from Leeds to London—all without even leaving the office! Using two exercise bikes parked in our reception area, we took turns to jump on the bikes and pedal away in a relay-style effort, collectively covering the distance while raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation. It was a great way to bring everyone together, with plenty of encouragement (and friendly competition) along the way.

The week was a reminder of how important it is to prioritise mental wellbeing—both individually and as a team. Whether through staying active, spending time outside, or simply connecting with colleagues, small actions can make a meaningful difference.

We’re proud to support initiatives like this and to contribute, in our own way, to raising awareness and supporting the fantastic work carried out by the Mental Health Foundation.
