Our team of volunteers spent a day last Friday helping out at Leeds North and West Foodbank. This amazing organisation do so much more than just hand out food parcels. They are a lifeline to the many families across the region who are currently living below the poverty line, helping to feed them as well as taking the time to understand the root cause of their situation and connect them to the financial resources they need. We really valued the chance to contribute to the charity and our team sorted, packed and boxed over 60 meal boxes ready to be delivered to the families across Leeds who need them most. Seeing the impact of the Foodbank’s work first-hand was a humbling reminder that adding just a few extra items to your shopping can make a real difference to those who need it most.
