Trainee Exam Success: balancing work and study

Our trainee accountants have been busy recently, dedicating themselves to both client work and their professional studies — with excellent results to show for it. We’re proud to share that many of our trainees have achieved some fantastic exam results recently, reflecting not only their hard work but also the commitment they bring to supporting our clients.

Studying alongside client work brings real, practical benefits. It helps our trainees develop a deeper understanding of how accounting and finance work in practice, improves problem-solving skills, and enhances their ability to provide clear, informed advice. By combining hands-on experience with structured learning, they gain skills and confidence that directly improve the support we provide to our clients.

Of course, juggling study and work can be challenging and our trainees are supported in managing this by careful planning, strong time management, and the support and guidance of experienced colleagues. The results speak for themselves and we’re delighted to celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and thrive — for the benefit of their own careers and the clients they support.

A special mention in particular to Beth Johnson, Business Services Accountant who received her final ACA results at the end of December and is now a fully qualified Chartered Accountant following a very impressive set of results throughout the 5 years she has studied with us – a success story worth celebrating!
