Vicki Peck

Introducing the Who’s Who? corner of our monthly Newswire…

Each month we’ll interview one of the team here at KN to tell you a bit more about themselves and their role….after all, everyone loves a good nosey don’t they?!

Vicki Peck – Senior Accountant, Business Services

Vicki joined the firm almost 7 years ago – she is ACCA qualified and works within the Business Services team as a Senior Accountant

Tell us a bit about your role and the firm…

I am a senior accountant working in the business services team. My role mainly consists of the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts, preparing and submitting VAT returns, and providing accounting support to clients to help them with the running of their businesses. I enjoy the variety of clients I get to work with and getting to know them and their businesses. I also feel lucky to work with such a fantastic team, everyone at KN is always committed to helping both clients and colleagues in the best way they can.

What would you be if you weren’t an Accountant?

I love holidays and travel so I think I would have enjoyed being a travel agent. One of my friends is a luxury travel agent and she gets to try out the hotels for free so maybe I’m just thinking of the perks!

What are you currently listening to?

I have been listening to a lot of Sam Fender recently as I am going to see him at St James Park Friday which I am very excited about!

I’m also lucky enough to be going to see Bruce Springsteen the following weekend so I’ve been listening to his music a lot recently too.

Where is your favourite place in the World?

I visited an island in Indonesia called Sumba a few years ago which was absolute paradise, the highlight was releasing baby turtles on the beach at sunset. I hope I get to go back again one day.

What’s on your bucket list?

In November this year me and my husband are surprising the kids (aged 4 and 7) with a trip to Lapland to see the real big man! So that is definitely a bucket list trip we will be ticking off. Next on the list would be to take them to Orlando or California in a few years time to do the theme parks.
