Volunteering Day at Leeds Children’s Charity

The sun came out last Friday for our team of volunteers who helped out at Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm – a fantastic charity who help brighten children’s lives by providing respite and support to disadvantaged children across Leeds.

The team were very welcoming and kept us super busy with sanding & varnishing wardrobes, painting feature walls to freshen up the areas where families come to stay as well as getting stuck into some outdoor maintenance to help tidy the grounds (as well as meeting Danny, Nelson and Higgy Bear – the charity’s resident Shetland ponies!)

It was hugely rewarding to see the difference a small team can make in a day – fantastic teamwork and a wonderful opportunity to spend time helping this incredible charity.
