Each month we’ll interview one of the team here at KN to tell you a bit more about themselves and their role….after all, everyone loves a good nosey don’t they?!
Adam Wetherall – Tax Senior, Private Client Tax
Adam joined KN earlier this year bringing with him almost 5 years’ experience of private client tax experience and is ATT/CTA qualified. He works alongside Liz Rogers and Krystal Young within the firm’s Private Client Tax team.
Tell us a bit about your role and Kirk Newsholme.
I work in the personal tax team as a Tax Senior having joined KN back in April. I work on a wide range of clients, preparing and reviewing tax returns (of all types!), as well as advising, particularly on Trusts, Estates and IHT alongside Liz.
What would you be if you weren’t working in Tax?
The initial dream was to work at a football club in the sports science department, so failing that, I would say a personal trainer.
What are you currently reading/watching/listening to? I’ve recently watched “Monsters” on Netflix, a series about the Menendez brothers which is a bit of a dark watch, and also Married at First Sight at the other end of the TV spectrum.
Where is your favourite place in the World?
Probably biased by my holiday experience but the Caribbean – white sandy beaches, clear water, sport and laid back lifestyle.
What’s on your bucket list?
I’ve always wanted to visit Australia, watch the boxing day test match during the Ashes and hop across to see the sights in New Zealand.
