Each month we’ll interview one of the team here at KN to tell you a bit more about themselves and their role….after all, everyone loves a good nosey don’t they?!

Oskar Stachura, Assistant Accountant, Business Services

Oskar has been with the firm for 3 years, working in our Business Services team and is studying towards his ACA qualification.

Tell us a bit about your role and what it’s like to work at KN

I work in the business services department dealing mainly with the monthly management accounts and preparation of the statutory accounts. I often work at clients’ premises where I’m responsible for the bookkeeping and management accounts preparation.  One of the things that really stands out to me about Kirk Newsholme is the great one to one client relationships we have. For trainees like myself it is a great firm to gain crucial experience by taking more and more responsibility whilst studying for your qualifications.

What would you do if you weren’t an accountant?

That is a tough question as I probably went through around 100 different ideas when I was a kid but thinking about it, being a professional MMA fighter was definitely the idea that stuck with me for a long time.

Where’s your favourite place in the World?

My favourite place must be Thailand, I’ve been there 3 times already and I will definitely go there again for my holidays, to train Muay Thai and obviously enjoy the lovely Thai food.

What are you currently watching?

Recently I’ve watched the Shooter on Netflix and it is definitely one of the better series I’ve watched, though I haven’t seen that many.
