Kyle Astall – Trainee Administrator – Kirk Newsholme Financial Planning
Kyle joined the KNFP admin team in 2023 and has since completed his Financial Administrator L3 qualification. He works alongside the team of administrators to help support the firm’s advisers in providing a high quality service to their clients.
Tell us a bit about your role at Kirk Newsholme Financial Planning…
I am currently an Administrator at KNFP, my typical day in the role would be communicating with clients whether it be by telephone or email, arranging appointments and chasing up paperwork. I regularly prepare and send investment valuations to clients, helping keep them informed and confident their money is well managed. I’m working toward becoming a qualified Financial Advisor like my colleagues.
What would you be if you weren’t working in Financial Planning?
My backup plan was always to be a part of the fitness industry, perhaps being a personal trainer, as going to the gym is one of my hobbies – it does sound like an interesting job.
What are you currently reading/watching/listening to?
I am currently watching a series on Netflix called ‘Adolescence’, definitely worth a watch!
Where is your favourite place in the World?
I go up to the Lake District quite a lot and reckon it’s up there with one of my favourite places. Especially on a nice summer’s day!
What’s on your bucket list?
I would definitely say my top 3 places to visit are: Los Angeles USA, travel around Thailand, and to go to Australia
