Key role at Kirk Newsholme:
Before joining Kirk Newsholme in 2008, Neill gained over 10 years experience in partner positions with BDO LLP and John Gordon Walton. As well as his position as Audit Director, Neill is also the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner and Money Laundering Reporting Officer. He provides audit and professional advisory services to a portfolio of clients dominated by family, owner managed businesses and professional practices across a wide range of sectors.
Neill’s areas of specialism include Audit, financial reporting (UK GAAP and IFRS), financial projections, share valuations and Solicitors Accounts Rules. In over 30 years of professional practice experience he has also gained extensive experience of assurance assignments, accounting, tax, corporate finance, business advisory and practice management and marketing.

About Me:
I enjoy playing golf (of a fashion) when I’m not playing taxi driver to my three teenage daughters!
Music:
Rock – in particular metal, classic and progressive rock. My favourite band who I’ve followed for over 40 years are the progressive metal pioneers, Rush.
Quirky Fact:
During a holiday job set off the fire alarm at 3 o’clock in the morning at the Gatwick Hilton hotel by burning some toast resulting in a full fire brigade response!
